Health & Safety ManagerLocation: Oldham (Office Based with site visits)Salary: 50,000 + Company Car + Fuel AllowanceHours: 7:30am - 4:00pmAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established construction and refurbishment business operating across the North West and surrounding regions. The role will be predominantly office-based in Oldham, with regular site visits across the North West and Shrewsbury areas.The business specialises in fit-out, refurbishment, and fire door projects, and is looking for a proactive individual to take ownership of all health, safety, and compliance functions across the company.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)Managing and maintaining company accreditationsProducing and updating Construction Phase PlansManaging ISO standards and compliance processesConducting regular site audits and inspectionsEnsuring compliance with current health and safety legislationInvestigating incidents and implementing corrective actions where requiredProviding guidance and support to operational teams on all health and safety mattersMaintaining accurate records and documentationDriving continuous improvement of health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across the businessRequirementsNEBOSH qualification essentialPrevious experience in a Health & Safety Manager or senior Health & Safety role within the construction sectorStrong understanding of fit-out, refurbishment, and fire door projectsExperience managing accreditations, ISO standards, RAMS, and Construction Phase PlansExcellent organisational and administrative skillsDegree qualification desirable but not essentialFull UK Driving LicenceWhat's on Offer?Salary circa 50,000Company car and fuel allowanceLong-term opportunity within a growing construction businessVaried role combining office-based responsibilities with site engagementDiscipline(s): Construction & PropertyJob type: Permanent
