The OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Mechanical, Plumbing, Pipefitting, or M&E professional who has successfully progressed from a hands-on engineering background into a management or supervisory position.
As the operational lead for the company's engineering teams, you will oversee project delivery, coordinate resources, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary operational contact for site-based plumbers and pipefittersManage and support engineering teams across multiple projectsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholdersCoordinate labour, materials, tools, and plant requirementsAssist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocationEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specificationMonitor site performance and provide technical support where requiredSupport business growth strategies alongside senior managementMaintain high standards of health and safety across all projectsManage procurement of tools, equipment, materials, and partsOversee project delivery across healthcare, care home, and commercial environmentsAbout YouEssential RequirementsPrevious experience in an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Management positionStrong background within Plumbing, Pipefitting, Mechanical Services, or M&E contractingHands-on trade experience with progression into managementExcellent understanding of mechanical systems, materials, tools, and equipmentStrong client-facing and relationship management skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent organisational and communication skillsFull UK Driving LicenceDesirableExperience delivering care home, healthcare, or commercial sector projectsContracts management or project delivery experienceMechanical or M&E qualificationsExperience managing direct labour and subcontractor teamsWhat's On Offer?
