Breach of Contract Solicitor in Liverpool

Overview

In this role you will manage a varied caseload of breach of contract claims for tenants within a specialist housing disrepair team. You will work through instruction to resolution, coordinating with Counsel and handling pre- and post-litigation steps. The position offers ownership of your caseload, supportive development, and hybrid working. You will impact client outcomes through precise case management and proactive negotiations, within a growing litigation group.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of breach of agreement matters
• Draft applications, proceedings and court documents
• Review surveyors' reports and evidence
• Negotiate settlements and pursue claims where necessary
• Liaise with Counsel and prepare court bundles
• Handle access and decant issues
• Maintain accurate records using a case management system
• Deliver exceptional client care throughout the claims process

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor
• Strong litigation and case management experience
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Experience in Housing Disrepair/Breach of Contract matters desirable but not essential
