Projects range from £10K to £3M, the business continues to grow its pipeline and strengthen its commercial and operational teams. Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects. This is an office/site based position, offering strong exposure to both pre- and post contract duties across varied commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage, and maintain detailed project cost plans, estimates, and budgets
- Carry out quantity take-offs and produce BOQs for pricing and procurement
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial accounts
- Monitor project variations and prepare change control documentation
- Assist with interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
- Support contract administration under JCT and Design & Build contracts
- Work closely with site managers, project teams, and clients to ensure commercial performance
- Maintain accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (fit-out experience highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects
- Working knowledge of JCT contract forms and Design & Build frameworks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant estimating/commercial software
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)
