Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects. This is an office/site based position, offering strong exposure to both pre- and post contract duties across varied commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, manage, and maintain detailed project cost plans, estimates, and budgets
  • Carry out quantity take-offs and produce BOQs for pricing and procurement
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial accounts
  • Monitor project variations and prepare change control documentation
  • Assist with interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
  • Support contract administration under JCT and Design & Build contracts
  • Work closely with site managers, project teams, and clients to ensure commercial performance
  • Maintain accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (fit-out experience highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects
  • Working knowledge of JCT contract forms and Design & Build frameworks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant estimating/commercial software
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail
  • Degree, HNC, or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)
