Production Operative Location: Heywood Hours: Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 18:00 Flexibility required between 06:00 - 18:00 when required Saturday mornings may be required during busy periods Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Overtime available and paid at the standard hourly rate About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Heywood. This is a hands-on role working within a chemical production environment, supporting the manufacture, packaging and movement of products while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position would suit candidates with previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or chemical processing environments. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the manufacture and blending of chemical products Filling, labelling and packaging finished products Handling raw materials and chemicals safely Loading and unloading deliveries Carrying out quality checks and completing production paperwork Maintaining a clean and organised working environment Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations Supporting stock control and material movements Reporting equipment faults, spillages or hazards promptly Working as part of a team to meet production targets Candidate Requirements Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred Chemical industry experience would be advantageous Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Comfortable with manual handling duties Reliable with a positive attitude towards work Able to work in a safety-conscious environment Benefits Full-time, ongoing work Weekly pay Overtime opportunities On-site training provided Opportunity to secure a permanent position Supportive team environment To apply, please submit your CV or contact our office for further details
