Our client, a leading UK manufacturer, is experiencing a substantial increase in demand for their products. To meet this surge in demand and ensure the timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders, they are actively seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join their team. We are looking for dedicated individuals with previous warehouse experience and excellent communication skills. The successful candidates will play a vital role in the company's operations, contributing to the assembly of their products, efficient order processing, and safe and timely dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detail-Oriented Work: Precisely fill tester jars with paint, requiring a keen eye for detail to maintain quality standards.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading containers, ensuring the secure handling of products.
- Stock and Order Processing: Accurately process stock and orders, maintaining inventory integrity.
- Packaging: Properly wrap stock and pallets to prevent damage during shipping.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised warehouse space, including housekeeping and recycling efforts.
- Health and Safety: Strictly adhere to health and safety guidelines and warehouse rules to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Prior warehouse experience is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and product quality.
- Flexibility to work from Monday to Friday, with standard hours from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM, and the ability to work until 06:00 PM when necessary.
- Willingness to take a one-hour unpaid lunch break and two paid breaks during the day (20 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the afternoon).
