VNA Driver - Manchester
Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of desserts and speciality foods.
Operating from their manufacturing site in Manchester, they produce a wide range of fresh and frozen food products that are supplied to customers across the UK.
They are currently looking for an experienced VNA Driver to join their warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift truck safely and efficiently.
Loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse.
Picking and replenishing stock from high-level racking.
Preparing finished goods ready for dispatch.
Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Ensuring all products are handled in accordance with food safety and company procedures.
Completing relevant paperwork accurately.
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required by the Warehouse or Production Manager.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Candidate
Requirements
A valid, in-date VNA forklift truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent).
Previous experience operating a VNA truck within a warehouse or food manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A reliable and flexible approach to work.
Working
Hours
Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm Flexibility is essential, as overtime may be required during busy periods until all work is completed.
