Job Description
We are currently looking for a Van Driver to join our growing team, delivering goods β including furniture and other heavy items β across the UK. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, ranging from 7 to 20 drops per day, and requires someone who is physically fit, reliable, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company van to deliver furniture and other goods across the UK
- Load and unload heavy items (including sofas, beds, wardrobes, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet time schedules
- Handle goods with care and ensure they are delivered in excellent condition
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
- Deliver excellent customer service at every drop
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company procedures
- Load the van with deliveries in preparation for the next day\βs run
Requirements
- Must be 25 years old or over (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- Previous van driving experience preferred β experience with heavy lifting or furniture delivery is a strong advantage
- Good understanding of UK roads and motorways
- Must be able to use manual transmission
- Physically fit and able to lift/carry heavy items safely
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Working Hours
Vary depending on routes β early starts required between 4am to 6pm. Full-time role with potential weekend work.
