An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing specialist contractor delivering drylining and SFS (Metal Frame) packages across a range of commercial construction projects. With several new projects due to commence and continued business growth, we are looking for a motivated individual capable of taking responsibility for site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Projects typically include commercial developments, hotels, and care homes, with package values of up to £1.5 million.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations on drylining and SFS packages.
- Coordinating labour, subcontractors, and material deliveries.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of quality assurance (QA) and compliance.
- Working closely with main contractors and project stakeholders.
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress against programme.
- Managing health and safety on site and ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Identifying and resolving site issues promptly to minimise delays.
- Producing site reports and communicating project updates to management.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience managing drylining and/or SFS (metal frame) projects.
- Proven experience running projects independently.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and site management procedures.
- Experience working alongside major main contractors.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
