Location: Salford, Manchester

Hours: 10pm to 8am

Time Recruitment is selecting a Waking Night Support Worker for a twenty bedded secure children's service; all beds are contracted to the Youth Custody Service.

As a Waking Night Support Worker here your duties will include:

  • Visual checks on all the young people
  • Complete electronic personnel event sheet and regular observations every 15 minutes
  • Emergency response
  • Laundry management
  • Kitchen, office and visiting room to be cleaned
  • Lounge areas cleaned and vacuumed
  • Rubbish removed

Requirements for the Waking Night Support Worker:

  • De-escalation knowledge and techniques
  • Safeguarding and risk management knowledge
  • PMVA/Restraint trained
