We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Oldham, supporting children and young people aged 8–18 within residential and short breaks services. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping young people thrive in a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
The Role
- You will be supporting children and young people with:
- Emotional and behavioural needs
- SEN and additional support needs
- Trauma-related behaviours and emotional dysregulation
- Daily routines, activities, and independent living skills
Experience Preferred
- Although not essential, we strongly welcome candidates with experience in:
- Residential childcare
- Short breaks services
- Supporting young people with behaviours that challenge
- Therapeutic or trauma-informed approaches
- Following care plans and safeguarding procedures
