Role Summary
The successful candidate will oversee commercial management across a portfolio of industrial fit out projects, with the flexibility to work on office fit outs when required. This is a key role with significant influence, offering long-term career progression and the chance to help shape the future of a growing, ambitious business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of fast-track industrial fit out projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare cost plans, BOQs, valuations, and final accounts.
- Conduct tender analysis, subcontractor procurement, and contract management.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and variations to ensure profitability.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure commercial goals are met.
- Build and maintain strong client and supply chain relationships.
- Support business development by utilising industry contacts and contributing to new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within industrial fit out (office fit out experience also considered).
- Background in delivering fast-track fit out projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract forms (e.g., JCT).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Established industry contacts and a willingness to support business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
