The client works as a contractor on projects across the North of England in the commercial and industrial sector. Projects are within masonry, stonework and window replacement with project values between £1M-£15M.
Certificates & Experience Required:
- Construction background required (masonry/stonework preferred but not essential)
- Black CSCS card (essential)
- SMSTS certification (required)
- Ideally NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Contracts Management
Duties include:
- Checking site progress and supporting site managers
- Reviewing contracts and programmes
- Managing spreadsheets, quality systems, and admin tasks
- Acting as a flexible support to resolve project issues
- Assisting the Construction Managers and Senior Contracts Manager with the coordination of site operations and logistics
- Tracking site progress and supporting the reporting of updates to the senior management team
- Communicating with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day site activities
- Supporting the preparation and management of project documentation, including site diaries and health & safety records
- Participating in site meetings and contributing to toolbox talks
- Helping ensure all work is completed in line with drawings, specifications, and approved method statements
- Acting as a point of contact for clients on-site, helping to address queries and maintain clear communication
- Identifying and elevating any site issues or risks to senior team members in a timely manner
