Temporary Site Manager / Supervisor (Short-Term Cover)
Location: Shrewsbury
Rate: £270 per day
Duration: 28th September - 13th October
Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Site Supervisor to provide site cover on a retail fit-out and construction project in Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities.
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and routine safety inspections.
- Monitor project progress and maintain programme requirements.
- Coordinate trades and ensure works are completed to the required standard.
- Liaise with project stakeholders and provide regular site updates.
- Complete site documentation, reports, and records as required.
Requirements:
- Valid SMSTS certification.
- Valid First Aid at Work qualification.
- Previous experience managing retail, fit-out, refurbishment, or fast-track construction projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage site operations independently and maintain programme targets.
