Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman to join a growing and well-established construction business based in Oldham.

Working on a variety of commercial, industrial, and specialist roofing and cladding projects, you will play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings and supporting project delivery from design through to installation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed roofing and cladding drawings using Auto CAD and other relevant design software.

Develop fabrication, construction, and installation drawings.

Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.

Liaise with project managers, clients, architects, and site teams.

Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and regulations.

Revise and update drawings as projects progress.

Support material take-offs and technical documentation where required.

Assist in resolving design and installation challenges.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman or in a similar role.

Strong proficiency in Auto CAD.

Good understanding of roofing and cladding systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Full UK driving licence preferred.
