This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager, Contracts Manager, or ambitious Operations professional to oversee multiple fast-moving fit-out projects while playing a key role in the delivery of a flagship £500k office fit-out project in Carnforth.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll act as the link between senior leadership and site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standard. This role offers a genuine opportunity to influence business performance while remaining closely involved with project delivery.

The Role

You’ll oversee a portfolio of education and commercial office fit-out projects, ranging from £10k to £100k, while providing strategic support on a major £500k office fit-out scheme in Carnforth. Rather than being tied to one site, you’ll manage the bigger delivery picture across multiple projects, supporting Site Managers, Foremen and subcontractor teams while ensuring resources, programmes and budgets remain on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects simultaneously.
  • Act as the key point of contact between site teams and the Managing Director.
  • Support Site Managers and Foremen with project delivery and problem solving.
  • Oversee construction programmes and critical path planning.
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Construction Phase Plans and RAMS.
  • Drive programme recovery where required.
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and margins.
  • Manage snagging, handover and project close-out activities.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in managing multiple projects and leading delivery teams. You may currently be a:

You’ll have excellent commercial awareness, strong organisational skills, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement when projects require additional support.
