A Different Kind of Care Management Role
If you’re searching for a position where you can genuinely focus on one person’s wellbeing rather than juggling a large caseload, this could be exactly what you’re looking for. This role centres around supporting a single individual to live a rich, fulfilling and self-directed life.
We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate care manager to lead a small team of live-in carers who support an inspiring woman in her own home in Roehampton, Southwest London. This is far more than a standard management role - it’s an opportunity to contribute to something meaningful, uplifting and genuinely life-enhancing.
About the person you’ll be supporting:
- She is lively, sociable and enjoys the freedom that 2:1 support provides.
- Her week is filled with activities. Your leadership will help ensure her days are shaped by choice, joy and dignity.
What makes this a great place to work:
- Strong focus on professional growth and ongoing development
- A supportive, friendly culture that celebrates milestones, birthdays and team achievements
- Access to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme
- Highly rated workplace culture (5 stars on Indeed)
- Recognised for excellence in mental health and dementia care
- Quarterly performance bonus potential
- Comprehensive benefits including 33 days’ holiday (pro rata, including bank holidays), NEST pension, referral scheme, discounts for family and friends, and Blue Light Card eligibility
Your responsibilities as Care Manager include:
- Provide daily leadership, supervision and encouragement to a small, dedicated care team
- Promote person-centred practice in every aspect of support
- Maintain a warm, positive and high-quality care environment
- Coordinate routines, encourage creativity and ensure consistently high standards
- Play a key role in enabling an active, enjoyable lifestyle
What we’re looking for in the Care Manager:
- At least 3 years’ experience in the care sector with a solid understanding of quality care
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Flexibility to provide support during evenings and weekends when needed
- A proactive, compassionate and solution-focused approach
- Comfortable using IT systems (MS Office and care software)
- Knowledge of CQC requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is preferred
- A driving licence and access to a car would be beneficial
If you’re passionate about person-centred care, love leading others and want to make a genuine difference every day, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
