Quantity Surveyor Location: Liverpool (Office-Based) Salary: Up to £45,000 + Travel Allowance About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hungry Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join a well-established Main Contractor based in Liverpool. The business works across a variety of sectors including domestic projects, traditional builds, commercial schemes, and hotel developments. You will work on projects typically ranging between £130K – £700K to start with, this role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of works while providing support and guidance from senior members of the business. This is a standalone role and represents a great chance for someone with a commercial edge to develop their career while adding real value. Key Responsibilities Price and prepare tenders for smaller works, domestic projects, and general construction schemes. Manage costs from initial estimates through to final accounts. Work on repeat business and competitive tenders to help secure future work. Liaise with clients and attend site visits as required. Assist in monitoring budgets and providing accurate cost reports. Ensure compliance with contractual and company procedures. Support commercial decision-making with accurate financial information. Person Specification Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator, ideally within a main contractor or traditional build environment. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to spot opportunities and help win work. Local to Liverpool or surrounding areas (preferred). Strong communication and client-facing skills. Organised, proactive, and able to work independently with support as needed. Available to start as soon as possible.
