About the Role
Time Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading financial services provider based in Stockport. Our client is seeking a talented and driven Protection Advisor to join their growing team. While the company is headquartered in Stockport, this role offers full flexibility to work from home.
As a Protection Advisor, you\’ll play a vital role in helping clients secure their financial future. You\’ll assess individual needs and recommend tailored protection solutions including life insurance, income protection, and critical illness cover.
Key Responsibilities
– Conduct detailed fact-finds and needs analyses with clients
– Recommend appropriate protection products based on client circumstances
– Clearly explain insurance options and terms in a client-friendly manner
– Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
– Build and maintain long-term client relationships
– Liaise with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms
– Consistently meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs
Skills & Experience
– Previous experience in financial services or insurance advisory (protection experience preferred)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Self-motivated with the ability to manage a remote client portfolio
– Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools
– CeMAP or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
– FCA-authorised or willing to work towards authorisation.
