As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating production machinery and supporting the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your duties will include:

  • Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery in line with company procedures
  • Loading and unloading materials and finished products
  • Performing basic machine checks and reporting any faults or issues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Assisting with general production duties as required
  • Operating overhead cranes and forklift trucks following successful training
  • Supporting production demands through overtime when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to work safely and follow company procedures at all times
  • Willingness to undertake training for overhead crane and forklift truck operation
  • Flexible approach to work and willing to work overtime at short notice when required
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 15:00 - 23:30
Friday: 15:00 - 22:30
Overtime available and flexibility required to meet production demands
