Our client is a fast-growing construction business and part of a wider, well-established group. They operate across three core arms of the business:

The Role

They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to play a key role in planning and programming works across multiple projects. The role will support both pre-construction and live delivery teams, ensuring programmes are robust, realistic, and aligned with commercial and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed construction programmes across refurbishment, decarb, and roofing/cladding projects
  • Produce tender, pre-construction, and live project programmes
  • Work closely with project managers, commercial teams, and site teams to ensure programme accuracy
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Carry out programme updates, reporting, and progress analysis
  • Support delay analysis and provide input into EOT claims where required
  • Attend project and client meetings as required
  • Help embed best practice planning processes as the business continues to grow

About You

  • Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within a main contractor environment
  • Background working on refurbishment, public sector, education, or similar complex projects
  • Strong working knowledge of planning software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6)
  • Commercially and contractually aware
  • Confident communicator, able to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a growing, fast-paced business
