️ PC and Laptop Builder Operative
Location: Heywood Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 Company: A fast-growing supplier of refurbished and used IT equipment
Job Overview: Join a dynamic team in Heywood where your expertise in PC and laptop hardware will make a real difference. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Operative to support the refurbishing and assembly of IT equipment to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and build PCs and laptops from assorted components
Book in IT equipment and carry out secure data wipes
Perform minor repairs and hardware upgrades
Conduct comprehensive functionality testing
Support general warehouse operations including order picking and stock management
Ensure cleanliness and organisation in the workspace
Load/unload palletised goods
Participate in stock counts and quality inspections
Requirements:
Strong passion for IT and computer hardware
Proven experience assembling and testing PCs/laptops
Familiarity with MS Office applications
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
Experience in the electronics sector is a plus
Comfortable with warehouse management systems
Previous warehouse work experience
