Accountant – Part-Time (25 Hours Per Week, Flexible Hours) Location: Wilmslow Salary: £25,000 We are currently representing a dynamic and growing small business group based in the Wilmslow area, seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week with flexible hours. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to make a meaningful impact within a small, multi-sector business environment, operating across Financial Services, Utilities, and Property. As the company continues to grow, they are looking for someone passionate about financial management to support their expansion. Key Responsibilities: – Prepare and analyse monthly accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. – Provide financial insights to support business decision-making and performance evaluation. – Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. – Oversee and improve financial processes and controls. – Liaise with external accountants for year-end financial statements and tax compliance. – Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations. – Assist in the development of financial strategies and business plans. – Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management. Qualifications & Experience: – Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent). – Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally within a small business environment. – Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. – Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Excel.
