Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. Based in the North West, you'll oversee a portfolio of projects primarily across Yorkshire, splitting your time between site visits and occasional office-based work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and organised construction professional who enjoys managing multiple live projects within a fast-paced environment.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring contracts are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Projects range in value from £100k to £1m and typically include:

  • Roofing
  • Refurbishment works
  • Metal roofing systems
  • General building works

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously across Yorkshire and the North West
  • Planning and coordinating site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Leading and supporting Site Managers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures
  • Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry
  • Experience delivering roofing, cladding, refurbishment, metal roofing or building projects
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects simultaneously
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Certifications: SMSTS, First Aid at Work
