About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pipefitter to join our growing team operating across the North West. This role is ideal for an individual with extensive experience in commercial and industrial pipefitting, particularly within plant room environments, who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will work on a range of projects, carrying out high-quality installation work while developing towards a senior or supervisory position within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and press-fit pipework systems.
  • Plant room installation, refurbishment and modification works.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Installation of heating, chilled water, domestic water and process pipework systems.
  • Testing, commissioning support and fault-finding activities.
  • Working closely with project managers, engineers and site teams.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Supporting apprentices and junior operatives where required.
  • Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter within commercial or industrial environments.
  • Strong plant room installation experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • CSCS Card DBS or Enhanced DBS.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the North West.

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pipefitting or Mechanical Engineering.
  • CSCS Card.
  • IPAF.
  • PASMA.
  • SSSTS.
  • Experience leading small installation teams.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services installations.
