We are working with a well established bespoke joinery business in Leeds who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their growing joinery division. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly skilled workshop team delivering high-quality, turnkey solutions across the retail and leisure sectors.

The business works closely with main contractors to deliver bespoke interior fit-out solutions for end-user clients, taking projects from initial concept through to manufacture and installation. Their reputation is built on delivering exceptional service, ensuring client ideas and visions are realised on time and within budget.

The company operates a full in-house capability covering:

As Estimator, you will play a key role in the commercial and pre-construction phase of projects, working across a steady flow of enquiries (approximately 10-15 per week). With strong repeat business, you'll be responsible for pricing and assessing bespoke joinery packages, typically around the £100k project value mark.

You will need a strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, particularly bench joinery and machining methods, to ensure accurate, practical, and commercially sound estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for bespoke joinery projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and client briefs to develop accurate quotations
  • Work closely with design, production, and workshop teams to understand buildability and manufacturing methods
  • Assess materials, labour, subcontract elements, and production requirements
  • Liaise with main contractors and repeat clients to clarify scope and requirements
