About the Role:
Due to continued expansion, my client is seeking skilled and experienced MIG Welders to join their growing team based in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with a well-established and reputable company in the steel fabrication industry.
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
- Friday: 07:30 - 13:30
- Overtime available and encouraged
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Carry out steel fabrication and general engineering tasks
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health & safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Fully conversant in MIG welding, steel fabrication, and general engineering practices
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Must be able to reliably commute to Bolton or be planning to relocate before starting work
