About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Account Handler to join a busy insurance brokerage in Manchester. As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, handling premiums from £100 to £1m+, and delivering exceptional service in a sector that is constantly evolving.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the first point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Policy Administration: Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Claims Support: Assist clients with claims, liaising with insurers to ensure smooth resolution.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all client records, policy documents, and communications meet regulatory standards.
- Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services to existing clients.
- Market Liaison: Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and cover for clients.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and support overall business growth.
About You
- Insurance Broking Experience: You have at least 2 years' experience in insurance account handling or broking.
- Adaptable & Versatile: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can pivot quickly to meet client needs.
- Client-Focused: You are passionate about delivering excellent service and building trust with clients.
- Detail-Oriented: Accuracy and compliance are second nature to you.
