Food Production Machine Operative

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:40 Friday: 08:00 - 15:40 About the Role

We are currently recruiting Food Production Machine Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing site in Swinton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established production team working within the Canning and Retort Department.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring canning and retort production machinery.

Loading and unloading products throughout the production process.

Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.

Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.

Assisting with production line set-up and changeovers.

Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Working as part of a team to achieve production targets.

Requirements

Good attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential.
