Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Perform wiring, cable work, crimping, and soldering operations with precision and accuracy.
- Inspect and test assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, always adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in assembly operations, with a focus on wiring, cable work, crimping, and soldering.
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools and equipment related to assembly operations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Working hours - Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 13:00
Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour. Please note this position will become permanent after a successful qualifying period.
