We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, with the furthest drop off being in Scotland. The position requires no more than 3 points on your driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a van and deliver goods to various locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Plan delivery routes and ensure that all deliveries are made on time.
- Load and unload goods from the van, and ensure that they are handled safely.
- Ensure that all delivery paperwork and invoices are completed accurately.
- Maintain the van in good working condition, reporting any issues or faults immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring that the van is operated safely at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting with clients in a polite and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and tidy van, ensuring that it is presentable at all times.
Requirements:
- Full, clean driver's license with no more than 3 points.
- Previous experience as a van driver or similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to plan delivery routes efficiently and effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday (Overtime when necessary).
