Position: Welder/Fabricator

Location: Liverpool (Workshop Based)

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week + Regular OT

Pay: Competitive rate of pay (DOE)

The Role

Time Recruitment are currently working with a well‑established and growing engineering company based in Liverpool. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their workshop team. This role would suit a skilled individual who takes pride in their workmanship, can accurately read fabrication drawings, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment producing structural steelwork and bespoke fabrications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welding and fabricating structural steel and bespoke components
  • Working from fabrication and engineering drawings
  • MIG, ARC and TIG welding to a high standard
  • Cutting, grinding, and preparation of materials
  • Ensuring work meets quality, safety, and specification requirements
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
  • Working as part of a close‑knit team to meet production deadlines

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
  • Competent in MIG welding (essential)
  • Experience in ARC and TIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Experience with structural steelwork and bespoke fabrication
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
