We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Joiner to work on a construction project at Heaps Mill, Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to join a busy site team on an initial 6-week contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling shuttering and formwork in accordance with site drawings and specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and install shuttering and formwork systems.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble timber and proprietary formwork systems.
  • Ensure formwork is installed accurately to specification.
  • Dismantle and remove shuttering once concrete has cured.
  • Work closely with site management and other trades.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working area.
  • Adhere to all site health and safety regulations.

RequirementsEssential

  • Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Own tools and PPE.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience working on commercial or large-scale construction projects.
  • Additional site certifications such as IPAF, CPCS, or SMSTS/SSSTS (where applicable).
