We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Bricklayer's Mate to join a busy construction site in Liverpool. The successful candidate will support bricklayers and site trades, assist with materials, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. This role is ideal for someone with site experience who is physically fit, dependable, and keen to progress within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting bricklayers with day-to-day tasks
- Mixing mortar to the correct consistency
- Loading and unloading bricks, blocks, and materials
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Moving materials around site as required
- Supporting general site labouring duties
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Taking instructions from site supervisors and tradesmen
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Previous experience as a labourer or bricklayer's mate preferred
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working on residential or commercial builds
- PPE (Safety boots, hi-vis & helmet)
