We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be proficient in both TIG and MIG welding techniques, able to work autonomously, and adept at reading and interpreting engineering drawings. This role involves welding carbon steel and stainless steel and assembling components to produce high-quality finished products. Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding, with TIG welding experience essential
- Interpret and work from manufacturing drawings accurately
- Verify dimensions and ensure products meet specifications
- Ensure all components required for assembly are prepared and available
- Fit and align parts precisely to maintain quality standards
- Adhere to quality control requirements throughout the production process
- Maintain production schedules and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Report and document any product defects or malfunctions promptly
Health & Safety Requirements
- Comply with the highest Health & Safety standards at all times
- Raise safety concerns promptly with management or colleagues
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently
- Report all accidents and near-miss incidents without delay
- Notify management of any machinery or equipment requiring maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Experience Required
- Minimum of four years’ welding experience
Qualifications
- Relevant welding qualification certificates must be submitted with your application
- Onsite weld test to be completed during the interview process
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, 38-hour working week
- Fridays: Closed
