We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Demolition Labourers for an 8-week demolition project in Leeds (LS1). This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional site team and play a key role in the safe and efficient completion of demolition works.

The successful candidates will assist with soft strip and demolition activities, site clearance, waste removal, and general labouring duties while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with soft strip and demolition works
  • Removing fixtures, fittings, and non-structural elements
  • Loading, unloading, and moving demolition materials around site
  • Segregating and disposing of waste materials appropriately
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Assisting plant operators and demolition teams as required
  • Following site demolition plans and instructions from supervisors
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Carrying out general labouring and site support duties

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
  • Previous demolition or construction labouring experience
  • Good understanding of demolition site health and safety requirements
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
  • Own PPE including Hard Hat, High-Visibility Vest, Safety Boots, Gloves, and Eye Protection

  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate
  • Experience on commercial demolition projects
  • Additional plant or site safety tickets
  • Immediate availability
