Guillotine Operator – Bury Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45 Friday: 08:00 – 15:15 PPE Required: Safety shoes Hi-Vis vest ️ Role Overview: Our client, a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Bury, is seeking a reliable and efficient Guillotine Operator to join their production team. This role involves operating machinery that produces fabric and flow-wrapped products, with a focus on precision cutting and packing. Key Responsibilities: Operate guillotine machinery to cut product rolls to specification Handle and pack 4-5 rolls at a time from the guillotine station Assist in the production of fabric and flow-wrapped goods Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work efficiently to meet daily production targets Candidate Requirements: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Physically fit and able to handle repetitive lifting and movement Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting Good attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to work independently and as part of a team ⚠️ Additional Notes: The role is physically demanding and requires consistent speed and accuracy Due to the ergonomic setup of the guillotine, individuals of smaller stature may find the role more suitable Suitability for the role is often evident within the first hour of work Interested?
