Role Overview:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key commercial role within the Permanent Structures Division, managing a mix of framework agreements and competitively tendered projects. You will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of projects, ensuring cost control, value optimisation, and commercial risk management from pre-contract through to final account. Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial management of multiple modular construction projects across the UK
- Managing projects secured via frameworks and tenders
- Preparation and management of budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
- Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain
- Valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts
- Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunities
- Supporting pre-construction and tendering activities where required
- Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure commercial success
- Reporting on project performance to senior management
