Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:40, Friday: 08:00 - 15:40

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Food Production Machine Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing site in Swinton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established production team working within the Canning and Retort Department. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating and monitoring canning and retort production machinery.
  • Loading and unloading products throughout the production process.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Assisting with production line set-up and changeovers.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
  • Working as part of a team to achieve production targets.

Requirements

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential.
