Job Vacancy: FLT Counterbalance Driver (Electric Truck)

Location: Bolton Contract Type: Temp to Perm Working Hours: Double Days – 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm (rotating shifts) Pay Rate: £14.59 per hour (Basic) + Overtime premiums

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team in Bolton. This hands‑on role involves operating an electric counterbalance forklift truck, supporting both Goods In and Goods Out operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate electric counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently
• Load and unload deliveries with precision and care
• Palletise stock and transport materials across the warehouse
• Perform manual handling tasks (handballing) when required
• Assist with stock control and inventory movement
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site protocols

Skills & Experience Required

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
• Proven experience with electric counterbalance trucks
• Background in warehouse or logistics operations
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
• Willingness to work rotating shifts
