Our client, a leading manufacturer of foam and fibre products, is currently seeking a Fork Lift Truck Driver (Counter Balance) to join their team at their main production site in Oldham. The company specialises in producing a range of products from foam cushions to mattresses, and they are looking for an experienced individual to help with the distribution and preparation of goods. Key Responsibilities: β Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move and distribute goods within the warehouse and production areas. β Assist with packing and preparing goods for dispatch. β Help with Goods In/Out processes, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient stock management. β Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse. β Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment. Shift Details: β Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 23:00 Essential Qualifications & Experience: β Valid Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck (FLT) license. β Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the foam industry. β Familiarity with Goods In/Out processes and stock management. β Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and with other departments. β Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Desirable Skills: β Experience in packing and preparing goods for dispatch. β Knowledge of basic warehouse management systems (WMS).
