The successful candidate will initially support a major project in London, spending approximately 2-3 days per week on-site, with hybrid working available.
Key Responsibilities- Managing the commercial aspects of office fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account.
- Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets, valuations, and forecasts.
- Pricing and tendering works packages.
- Procuring subcontractors and managing subcontractor accounts.
- Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
- Managing variations, change control processes, and contractual matters.
- Producing accurate financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
- Strong background delivering Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects.
- Experience working on commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes.
- Demonstrable pricing and estimating capability.
- Experience managing projects with values exceeding £10 million.
- Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving Licence preferred.
