Our client is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Estimator to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator with a strong technical understanding of fire and security systems who is looking to join a reputable company with a strong order book and exciting growth plans. The Role As a Fire & Security Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive quotations for a wide range of fire and security projects across commercial, industrial, education and public sector environments. Working closely with customers, engineers, suppliers and the wider sales team, you will play a key role in securing new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Preparing detailed estimates and quotations for fire and security systems. Interpreting technical specifications, drawings and tender documents. Conducting site surveys when required. Pricing projects involving: Fire Alarms CCTV Systems Intruder Alarms Access Control Systems Emergency Lighting Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing. Producing tender submissions and supporting documentation. Working with project and sales teams to ensure smooth project handover. Identifying value engineering opportunities to maximise competitiveness and profitability. Requirements Previous experience as a Fire & Security Estimator, Security Estimator or Fire Systems Estimator. Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office packages. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
