About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing construction business and part of a wider, well-established group. They operate across three core arms of the business: Refurbishment (Public Sector & Education), Decarbonisation schemes, and Roofing & Cladding. With a strong pipeline of work and a leadership team drawn from Tier 1 main contractors, this is a company very much on the up, offering stability, and the chance to help shape a growing regional presence from their new Warrington office.
The Role
They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to play a key role in planning and programming works across multiple projects. The role will support both pre-construction and live delivery teams, ensuring programmes are robust, realistic, and aligned with commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed construction programmes across refurbishment, decarb, and roofing/cladding projects
- Produce tender, pre-construction, and live project programmes
- Work closely with project managers, commercial teams, and site teams to ensure programme accuracy
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies
- Carry out programme updates, reporting, and progress analysis
- Support delay analysis and provide input into EOT claims where required
- Attend project and client meetings as required
- Help embed best practice planning processes as the business continues to grow
About You
- Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within a main contractor environment
- Background working on refurbishment, public sector, education, or similar complex projects
- Strong working knowledge of planning software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6)
- Commercially and contractually aware
- Confident communicator, able to work with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a growing, fast-paced business
