About the Role of Clinical Deputy Manager

As Clinical Deputy, you\’ll work alongside the Home Manager to lead and support a committed team of nurses and carers. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest clinical standards, driving compliance, and ensuring safe, person-centred care across the home. With your clinical expertise and leadership skills, you\’ll also play a key part in mentoring staff, auditing practices, and overseeing day-to-day operations.

You\’ll also have the flexibility to support sister homes locally when required – for this reason, a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

What We\’re Looking For in out Clinical Deputy Manager

  • NMC Registered Nurse – Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disabilities
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy in a care home setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
  • Confident in wound care, medication management, and health assessments
  • Organised, proactive, and IT literate
  • A natural mentor with a passion for developing others
  • Reliable and flexible with the ability to support across multiple sites
