We\’re looking for a Deputy Care Manager to join a dedicated and growing care team committed to enhancing the lives of individuals in our community. About the Role As Deputy Care Manager, you\’ll support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations of the service and help ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in care who is ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities for the Deputy Care Manager include: Act as the key point of contact for clients and care staff, resolving queries and maintaining strong relationships. Assist in the coordination of care services, including assessments, care planning, and scheduling. Maintain accurate personnel records and conduct regular staff supervision. Attend client reviews, manage updates to care plans, and participate in quality assurance processes. Support recruitment and onboarding of new carers. Participate in the on-call rota and cover care calls in emergencies. Ensure all communications and records are kept up to date using care planning software. What We\’re Looking For Essential: Experience working in the care sector. NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (with commitment to achieve Level 3). A Social Care Portfolio (courses, certificates, CPD). Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently. IT proficiency. Clean driving licence. Desirable: NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Previous experience in office administration and coordinating care schedules.
