The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced
Site Manager to join a £1.8m–£2m industrial project in Crewe.
The project has already completed approximately three years of drainage works and is now moving into the next phase, which will include steel frame construction, industrial cladding and refurbishment works.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong industrial construction background and proven experience managing steel frame and concrete yard projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
- Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained.
- Coordinate and book in subcontractors and trades.
- Manage site activities and ensure works are delivered to programme.
- Deal with on-site design issues and coordinate solutions.
- Liaise with statutory authorities and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain effective communication with the project team, contractors and site personnel.
- Ensure works are completed to the required quality and specification.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a
Site Manager on industrial construction projects.
- Proven experience with steel frame construction .
- Experience delivering concrete yards .
- Knowledge and experience of
S278 works .
- Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- SMSTS
