My client are seeking a highly experienced Account Manager to oversee a retail account within the high end sector. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing large-scale customer relationships. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth project delivery, expanding operations across the UK and maintaining long-term client satisfaction.
Location & Working Model
- Based within commutable distance to Northampton
- Hybrid working model: Office based, site visits and working from home.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth project handover: Transition secured orders to the Project Management team, guaranteeing a seamless customer onboarding process. Transfer day-to-day relationship and delivery responsibilities while sharing expertise to help identify and maximize ongoing business opportunities.
- Deliver accurate forecasts: Produce detailed, reliable revenue and margin forecasts in line with reporting schedules. Ensure projections are realistic, transparent, and able to withstand scrutiny.
- Foster collaboration: Partner with internal teams to build strong, cross-functional relationships. Promote teamwork and ensure the customer's voice and experience are consistently understood and delivered.
- Provide market insights: Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to gather and share market intelligence and competitor analysis. Support informed, strategic tendering to secure maximum profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement: Work closely with internal departments to develop processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen overall business performance.
- Communicate daily with Project Managers to track progress, resolve issues, and align priorities.
- Liaise with purchasing teams to ensure supply chain efficiency and timely delivery of equipment.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and support expansion into new markets.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular updates, meetings, and proactive engagement.
