Salary: £23.00 per hour - £53,820 per annum
Hours: Days only - 45 hour contract - 3 shifts clinical 1 supernumerary
Shift times: Days - 7:45am to 8:15pm, 8-4 or 9-5 supernumerary
Time Recruitment are selecting a Clinical Deputy Home Manager for a highly regarded care group; they are more than just a care group; they’re a family with over 35 care homes nationally with new acquisitions and new builds planned - you can be assured it’s an exciting time to join them as they acquire and develop in the local area!
The service is the height of luxury with an on-site cinema, salon, family room, cafés and stunning grounds/gardens; teamed with a good CQC report and with a nursing home manager with over 18 years’ experience overall you can be assured you’re joining a well-developed regularly trained team working alongside you.
As a Clinical Deputy Home Manager here you will oversee the service which is largely residential but has a specialist dementia nursing unit and a general nursing unit on site also; the units are staffed with longstanding nursing staff overseeing them so your role will require you to:
- Responsible for monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified and unqualified care staff.
- Support the Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures, and business objectives.
- Prepare the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
- Responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are promptly investigated and dealt with appropriately.
