Join our client\’s dedicated team at a Children\’s Residential Home in Oldham and help transform futures for children with emotional and behavioural needs. The home is a solo home, so its a real opportunity to provide 1:1 care!

What You\’ll Do as Children\’s Support Worker here:

– Provide nurturing emotional and physical support in a structured and safe environment

– Build strong, trusting relationships with young people

– Encourage positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches

– Support educational, social, and recreational development

– Handle day-to-day routines-from meals and transport to appointments

– Work closely with colleagues and professionals to deliver consistent care

– Contribute to a culture that prioritises teamwork and child-focused outcomes

What We\’re Looking For in a Children\’s Support Worker:

– Genuine passion for working with children and young people

– Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

– Excellent communication and teamwork skills

– Flexibility to work shifts, including 24-hour cover and weekends

– Full UK driving licence required

– Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or willingness to work towards it)

– Experience in a similar setting is a strong advantage
